Right of Way plans for CA’s largest haul
Right of Way Inc. has been working with its sister company, WCS Permits, to move the largest and heaviest load to travel on California’s roads.
The superload is an Old Steamed Generator which will move from the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station to a disposal site in Clive, UT.
ROW has worked with Caltrans and other authorities and organizations to close bridges for inspection prior to the move as well as other roads.
In addition to the traffic management for road closures, ROW’s sister co. obtained over 20 permits in order to move the trailer holding the generator which is over 20 feet wide with 222 tires.
The load will take weeks to make it to UT as it can only go up to certain speeds and will do most of its traveling at night.
